Dr. Andy Cheung holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology from UC Santa Cruz. He began his dental career in research at Oregon Health and Science University, where he focused on pioneering dental restorative composites. He earned his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA, his commitment to research was demonstrated through numerous publications research awards and a patent for enhancing 3D-printable restorative dental resins.
In clinical dentistry, he has received awards in esthetics, periodontology, and oral pathology. To further his expertise, Dr. Cheung completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he expanded his skills in restorative and surgical dentistry. He is also deeply involved in orofacial pain and is currently a Fellow in Orofacial Pain at Harvard and Massachusetts General Hospital.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Cheung values his family time. He is married with two children and a cherished Olde English Bulldog mix named Bubbles.
