The new materials and technology available today make it easier than ever to have a whiter smile. Our office uses Zoom! whitening technology to brighten stained, discolored, or generally yellow teeth and can be performed on your teeth with no damage to the tooth structure.
The treatment can be completed in about 90 minutes. An activating gel is first applied to the surface of the teeth. A special light technology is than used to activate the gel. The process is repeated over 3-4 intervals to achieve optimum results.
Occasionally, patients experience mild sensitivity to cold food and beverages for a day or two following the procedure. Other than this temporary sensitivity, tooth whitening has no known side effects.
